ANNONI GROUP
The perfect balance between tradition and modernity

The Annoni Group is the result of the successful integration of two long-established companies in the province of Parma: Annoni SpA – pig slaughtering and meat processing, and Ugo Annoni SpA – ham curing.

It all started with Ugo Annoni, a figure that would prove to be crucial for the future development of the family business. Today the Group is still owned and managed by the Annoni family: a family deeply tied to the tradition of the Parma area, and motivated by the passion of its origins.

Thanks to the wise family management now in its third generation, the Annoni Group has achieved important results in terms of growth and innovation, while at the same time improving its production capacity, product quality and timeliness of service.

1838

The Annoni family, owner of a dairy located in Bussetto, in the province of Parma, started focusing on the breeding of pigs.

1963

Ugo Annoni is one of the founding partners of the Consorzio del Prosciutto di Parma. In the same year he started marketing the Parma hams produced by his family.

1976

The first slaughterhouse was built in Madonna dei Prati (Busseto). The plant boasted an average of 500 slaughterings per week.

2002

As the company grows, three ham curing plants are built. With the last one – located in Castellaro di Sala Baganza – the production capacity rises to 600.000 hams per year.
